1. Overview

TezStudio ("we") respects user privacy in PlantLapse ("the App") and handles data according to this policy. The App is a paid app: one purchase unlocks every feature. There are no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, and no account or sign-in.

2. Plant Photos

What we collect

The App processes photos (JPEG) and their capture date that the user explicitly adds by tapping the shutter button or importing from the photo library, plus the plant profiles the user creates (name, start date).

How it is used

• Displayed chronologically on the Album screen
• Used to render a timelapse video (MP4) or animated GIF
• User-selected color filters, date stamp, and watermark applied on export
• Automatic image alignment — frame-to-frame offsets are computed on the device to steady the timelapse. The results are not stored or transmitted.

Storage

Photos and profiles are stored exclusively on the user's device, in the App's private storage. They are never uploaded to our servers or any external cloud.

Third-party sharing

Photos are NOT shared with any third party. They leave the App only when the user explicitly shares them to another app (e.g., Messages, Mail) or saves them to the photo library.

3. Permissions

• Camera — to take plant photos
• Photo library — to import photos and save exported videos and GIFs
• Notifications — local reminders at the times the user chooses

Permissions are used only for these purposes and can be revoked at any time in the device settings.

4. Crash Diagnostics and Analytics

To improve stability, Google Firebase Crashlytics collects anonymous crash information (crash logs, device model, OS version, app version, installation identifier) when the App crashes. Firebase Analytics may collect anonymous app usage events. This data never includes photo or profile content and is not used for advertising or tracking. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.

5. Advertising and Tracking

The App shows no ads and contains no advertising SDKs. It does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) and does not track users across other companies' apps or websites.

6. Retention and Deletion

Photos and profiles stay on the device until the user deletes them in the App or removes the App; deleted files are removed immediately. Device backups (e.g., iCloud, Google backup) follow the respective service's policy.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. User Rights

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time. Contact: support@tez.kr

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will notify users via the App or this page.
